These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of UnGateway. Please read them carefully — they include important information about your rights and obligations. They do not constitute legal advice; consult your own counsel where appropriate.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using UnGateway (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- “Merchant” means the business or individual that registers for and uses the Service to accept cryptocurrency payments.
- “Invoice” means a payment request created through the gateway API that a customer settles in cryptocurrency.
- “Payout”means the transfer of a Merchant’s settled balance to a wallet address they control.
- “Digital Assets” means the cryptocurrencies supported by the Service from time to time.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and API keys, for enabling available security features such as two-factor authentication, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. The Service
UnGateway provides infrastructure that allows Merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments, view balances pooled by currency, and settle those balances via Payouts. Invoices are created programmatically using API keys generated in the dashboard.
We may add, modify or discontinue features, supported Digital Assets, or chains at any time. We do not custody fiat currency and do not provide exchange, brokerage, or investment services.
5. Fees & settlement
We charge a fee on each settled Invoice as described on our pricing page. Network (blockchain) fees required to process Payouts may be deducted from your balance. Fees are exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility. We may update fees with reasonable notice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- facilitate any unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, or financing of illegal goods or services;
- circumvent sanctions, or transact with prohibited or sanctioned persons or jurisdictions;
- interfere with, probe, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; or
- misrepresent your identity or your business to us or to your customers.
7. Assumption of risk
Digital Assets are volatile and transactions on public blockchains are generally irreversible. You acknowledge the risks inherent in holding and transacting Digital Assets, including price volatility, network congestion, forks, and the potential loss of access to assets due to lost keys. You are responsible for verifying wallet addresses before initiating Payouts.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnGateway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or Digital Assets, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
